Rutherford are composed of brothers Burrel Rutherford and Ross Rutherford. Their vocals are pure country with a laid-back style that make you feel at home while their Band of BRutherz will leave you tapping your toes with a bit of Rockabilly. Their fans comment the most on the sound of the harmonies that haven't been heard of since the Everly Brothers or the Beatles.
Throughout their career they have had the pleasure of opening and sharing the stage with some of the industries greats like, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Tim McGraw, Sammy Kershaw, Mo Bandy, Micky Gilley, Johnny Lee, Janie Fricke and Moore & Moore. They have been involved in productions that included Trisha Yearwood, Pam Tillis, Louise Mandrell, Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt.
They have proudly been a part of George Straits annual Wounded Warriers fundraiser for the past 7 years where George trusts them to entertain his fans during the vent.
Burrel and Ross Rutherford were both born in Kansas and were raised up and down the Texas Panhandle and currently reside in Texas near the San Antonio area.
Marquix Global Network - Interview
"With undeniable vocal talent and fine-tuned harmony served straight up, Rutherford is a group that any country music enthusiast will thoroughly enjoy. The success of their latest awarding-winning work has not gone unnoticed by the critics, with one recently writing: ‘Rutherford is following in the footsteps of greatness - as a committed country music star in the making - and 'See Clearly In The Dark' could very well become this artist's signature song.’ Yet there’s something special about Rutherford that sets them apart from other country acts. In a musical generation characterized by manufactured pop acts, Rutherford's originality and sincerity do more than stand out. They reveal qualities that cannot be engineered in the studio. There’s also an unpretentious realness to this group out of Beorne and judging by their growing fan base, they may be precisely what the new generation didn't know it was missing. Independent reporter Blake Wright recently caught up with Rutherford to get an inside look at this exciting new group and to learn what they have in store for fans this year."
The’ve got good ole’ country music in their bones and a style they can call all their own. Listen to them on their YouTube Channel and do yourself some good. **Music Arts Monthly
